Todd Byrnes has been playing drums since the age of four. His first paid performance was at the tender age of eight where he held down a regular gig on Friday and Saturday nights for two years, he has been a working musician ever since. At age 17 Todd joined the Australian Army Band Corp and studied at the College of the arts in Melbourne where he completed his teaching and performance degrees. Todd has toured with the likes of the Yellow jackets, The Dave Weckl band and performed for audiences all over the country with some of the finest musicians in the world. He owns and runs music schools and has tutored literally thousands of students in his long career as a music teacher. Todd currently endorses Pearl drums, Ziljian Cymbals and Billy Hyde Music. |

Graeme's formative music years were spent as a brass player, where he achieved considerable success in solo competitions at a state and national level. Playing in orchestras and cabaret groups enriched his experiences and musical education. Early adulthood led Graeme to convert to the drums with two years of excellent training with Harry Lebler in Brisbane during the early 1970s. Performing with well established pop/rock groups and jazz ensembles soon followed. Professionally, Graeme trained as a mainstream high school teacher but after five years converted to instrumental music teaching which he has now been doing for almost 30 years. Graeme is very passionate about helping beginner to intermediate drum student's form solid foundation skills that will assist them to become either competent hobbyists or professional musicians, which ever they should choose to be. |
