Julian began playing the guitar at an early age, listening to hard rock bands such as Metallica, Guns n Roses and AC/DC. After finishing secondary college Julian sought to widen his understanding of music and enrolled in Music School.

Since completing his Bachelor of Music at Monash University in 2004, Julian has been heavily involved in the Melbourne music scene, playing in a wide variety of groups and genres. Julian's experience includes the Monash University Big Band, several Top 40 cover bands, as well as playing in original funk and soul outfits. He also has experience in the electronic music scene playing with Electro-House group Butterbox.

Some of Julian's influences include John Scofield, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny, Sonny Rollins, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Charlie Parker, and bands such as Rage against the Machine, Tool, Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Metallica and Led Zeppelin.

Paul is currently performing in Melbourne original band "The New Black' who have toured nationally several times and supported bands such as The Fauves, Urge Overkill and 67 Special. Paul has been teaching and performing for many years and lists his main drumming influences as Danny Carey (Tool), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Vigil Donati, Dave Weckl and Thomas Lang.

His musical philosophy is fairly straight forward: 'Work hard and have heaps of fun doing it! Drums are by far the most fun instrument!'

Greg has been playing professionally in the music scene for many years, his influences are vast and he has played in numerous cover and original bands as well as contributing to many recording projects.

He played in various bands growing up and also studied at the Collingwood School of Music. Greg's playing has lead him to tour extensively throughout Victoria and all over Australia and support many well known Australian bands. As well as touring Greg has received national commercial radio airplay with his band. Greg is currently playing in Melbourne original bands The Nightfillers and Womp.

Luke plays and teaches both Guitar and Bass Guitar. His current music work includes Youth Alive and Life Church Music, he also performs around Melbourne on a regular basis. Luke has had the opportunity to play at several large arenas including a packed Rod Laver arena and in New York at Carnegie Hall!

Luke's music philosophy is: 'Simply, play it loud!'

Ric chose to play drums having watched and listening to Gene Krupa and Ringo Starr. He has over 40 years experience and in that time has played with: Marcia Hines; Renee Geyer; Gina Jeffries; Kasey Chambers; Rick Price; Geoff Atchinson; Angry Anderson and various other artists. He has played in numerous musicals and has a large body of studio experience. Ric currently has the chair in a Big Band, 70's cover band and does a variety of session work both in Melbourne and Sydney.

Ric lists his musical influences as Miles Davis, The Beatles, Mongo Santamaria, 70's Euro Jazz, early 70's funk, Latin bands and others too numerous to mention! His playing is influenced by Jim Kettner, Elvin Jones, Vinnie Colaiuta and Dave Garabaldi among others.

Ric's musical philosophy is "To play intuitively and creatively whilst supporting the music; never stop learning and be open to all music. I feel very privileged to be a musician".

Konrad Park has been teaching and performing for over 27 years and is a legend of the Australian drumming scene having performed with such artists as Grammy award winner Lucky Oceans & Zydecats, Renee Geyer, Perth based funk/jazz 4 piece Thrust, and quality control at the Brady drum company.

Konrad is an inspiring teacher and communicator who brings his considerable experience to both private and ensemble lessons. He aims to bring the best out in all students, creating lessons in an atmosphere of fun and excellence.
